There's a huge project going on at school, and I'm behind. I need to focus on that. I also need to focus on the horse I'm leasing, who I'm finally beginning to connect with. I need to focus on her, too. And, I'm sorry, but this site's beginning to bore me just a tad. Admining it and all. No one was ever on; we haven't had a new member in weeks. 1/1; Happy New Year! xP I hope you guys all had lots and lots of fun last night...I'm surprised I'm even up and on the computer! I've really got nothing to say, except that school starts up on Thursday for me, so you might see a slight decrease in activity. School is my number one priority, I have to remind myself that. Just keep up the good work in activity, okay? (: Also, I hope most of you are competing in the advertising contest! We really need more members. I've been doing a little advertising myself, but it doesn't seem to be working. =/ I'd like to remind you guys about the member of the month poll, too - nobody's voting! If you guys want me to do this again, vote! Only four people have voted so far, one being me (I did not vote for myself. xP) and the deadline is Janurary 3rd! C'mon guys; it only takes a second!
12/29;As you can see, Dogsong has yet again gotten a new skin - a lighter, pleasing-to-the-eye skin, that is. Hope you like! Spent at least two hours on it, just for you guys, so you'd better like it! ;D While I'm writing this, I'd like to remind you guys of the advertising contest starting on the 31st. Also, staff tryouts will probably begin a week or two after New Year's. I'd also like to address the dog count thing again; you guys are doing totally awesome with that, but we are not in need of Sunners or Mooners right now; the numbers are close to even! You are free to create whatever! Finally, I might allow mortal dogs soon, if we vote on it.

{ burned field This field was once a beautiful place, with long, healthy grass and flowers, and it was teeming with life. There was a nearby stream that attracted much wildlife. But, it is now just a bunch of ashes. It was burned by a Mooner with the ability to combust, and now, it's all black.

{ pollution lake Pollution lake is exactly that - polluted. The water is slimy and leaves a thick residue on whatever dares to enter it's waters. The water is a poop-brown color, and there's always trash. Pop cans, beer cans, a six pack, a garbage bag, even an old lawn chair.
{ boulder basin Boulder basin is a death trap, period. It really is a large rocky field, with millions of loose rocks the size of Great Danes. Many have died; crushed by the rocks. If you are nimble, you might have a chance, but I doubt it. You just never know.

{ dead frost forest An empty, dead forest. It's a dark and dreery place. The trees are bare and blackened with age and death; the ground seems to be rotting away. This is normally the main meeting place for the Mooners, as no one but a pack member dare venture inside.
{ black road The black road is on the outskirts of the Mooners' territory, so it is where most new dogs come from. This is really an old, abandoned road, the yellow lines long since worn off. It is now just a long, cracked black strip of tar. No cars run on it anymore, as there are no humans. No ever really comes here much, either.
{ the labratory Where all this madness began - Proffeser Yani's labratory. It is long since abandoned, as he was killed years ago. It is made mostly of scrap metal and is slowly rotting away. Most of it is a rusty color. From the outside, it looks like an old warehouse, but on the inside there are broken test tubes and things.
{ prong beach It's a fairly nice place. Nothing too fancy, just sand and a dirty lake. However, it is fairly clean; safe enough to drink from. It's normally empty there; no dogs really visit. Prong Beach as a bit of a sad aura over it; perhaps that's why? It's just..depressing. Makes you feel...misery.
{ winn-dixie groceries An old grocery store that's rotting away, just like the rest of the old town. There's still food and things inside; but it's truely a sad place. Windows are shattered; the door had been torn out, there's faded stains of blood on the floor.

{ church Half of this old church's roof has already caved in, but the other half still appears to be holding on. The church is an old white building, with an ashen-grey roof and the traditional cross and woodened benches on the inside. There are many crevecies to hide in, and it's nice if you need alone time.
{ dogsong high school Even the high school has been abandoned. It was a fairly large building, without a speck of carpeting in it. There are desks that have been turned over and almost all the windows have been shattered. In some classrooms there might even still be a few school papers and books.
{ wildflower hill A breathtaking place. There's a huge, grassy hill, layered with sheets of bright, happy colors - yellow, red, purple...in flowers! Imagine the flowers dancing around in the light breeze, swaying peacefully...

{ cloud spot Nicknamed the "Cloud Spot" by the Sunners, this is a deep valley with long, wispy grass. Often, in the morning, when the sun appears, this area gets a thick cloud of fog that does not leave until the afternoon - clouds!
{ country road An old dirt road, placed in the middle of Wildflower Hill. It, too, has a sort of peaceful, serene aura, just like the rest of the Sunlands. Most new dogs come from here.
{ marble rock This is where the Sunpack meets. It is a place where there are about seven or nine very large chunks of white rocks that glints and glitters in the sunlight like diamond. A truely breathtaking place.

{ amber lake A small lake with dark blue water. It's clean, healthy water, with little or no pollution. The water is only about six feet deep in it's deepest part; shallowest is six inches. A nice place for mothers.
