She stared out from the peak of Wildflower hill, her eyes never blinking, her bodice was still like a statue. Her eyes were locked upon the road, the country road where most new dogs arrived. She wished to find members for her pack, because.. well, she felt rather lonely. It was true, she was. She wasn't only a leader, she was a member, too. She needed friends. Of course, she wouldn't with her own nature in this form. The emerald markings on her legs glowed brightly like the sun, flickering on and off like old streetlights as the sunset began to take place. She lowered her head, and closed her eyes, waiting. If she was just free from this form.. she opened her eyes, staring at the ground below her paws, which was bone dry and cracked with absolutely no water at all. And the flowers? They were the sand that was carried away by the wind.
Midna flapped her wings, those odd, odd wings. Both were of blood, but one a raven, and the other a milky white. She took off into the sky, her wings effortlessly beating the air every minute to keep herself airborn. Her gaze was still set upon the road, for any Sunners. If she did see one, she would have to hide until the moon came out, then greet her members. Why? She did not want to spill Sun blood anymore. Her sun form had inherited her mother's hate for all Sunners beside her own father. She pondered about this, while soaring around in circles around the setting sun, her body a dark splotch in the golden heavens. Without thinking, she soared higher into the air, until she flew through a layer of clouds and could barely see the Sunner terrain.
She turned around, looking at the sun once more. And hovered in the air, enjoying the view. She counted down the complete setting of the sun, forgetting that she would have to get to the ground quickly before she transformed back to normal. But of course, she didn't remember, and thus when the sun had completely dissapeared, she felt quite heavy. He wings were losing their strength, unable to hold her up. So, she fell, her cream unberlly turning black and her fire hued mane dissapearing, the green markings fading into her ebonite pelt. She was like a rocket, falling across the sky, she fell down to earth headfirst, ready for her own death. But then, she opened her wings and safely glided down to the ground, or at least a few meters above before her wings had dissapeared, the blood turning back to it's liquid state and neatly flowing back into the two holes they had ripped near her shoulders, which had healed quite fast once the blood had gone in, it sealed itself with a few layers of skin that covered up the holes and prevented bleeding.
She crashed into the ground, having not broken anything but recieved a few bruises. She stood up, and loped over to her previous spot on the hill, and sat there, waiting, watching.
t.o.d; after sunset.
