[fenris]
The heavily coated beast trotted down towards the dirty shore line, litter strewn everywhere. The polluted water stank, a rancid, thick smell. Not that this bothered Fenris in the least. He found the cleanest place he could, near the water, lapping at the shoreline. Lying his head on his paws black pelted Fenris glanced at the sky.
The sun was setting. Of course, it was, every time Fenris came to the lake, the sun was about to set. He thought of the weird and horrible transformations which occured every night for as long as he could remember. The thought made his body tingle. Every once in awhile he just wished he could be normal. Then he usually chased that thought away with a harsh laugh.
What was Fenris thinking? This was normal..Wasn't It?? He had just arrived here in these new lands and felt there was something different about them. Though he had never met another 'Moon Dog' he knew there were more..Sighing Fenris glanced up at the sky again, wondering when..It would be time..Soon. Very Soon. He shuddered. Where would his nightly rampage take him tonight? He was thirsty..Ever so thirsty..

Trial stalked in, her heart raced at the thought of becoming her monster. She often had night-mares about herself. Strange isn't it? Did all Moon Dogs all had to suffer this kind of pain? She squared her shoulders as she saw another dog, raising her head, she peered out from the bushes, trying to figure out if it was a Mooner or Sunner. Impossible to tell from how far away she was. Giving a strange snort like sound, she walked out from her hiding spot, the lowering sun, set her red Husky pelt ablaze with the color of fire. Trial's paws stalked over the ground without hesitation. Her watchful blue eyes scanned the other dog. Her mind finally thought of what to say: "Are you a Moon Dog?" Her question was gruff as it rang out around the silent clearing, she scanned the water. Polluted as always. She scratched the ground twice as she waited for an answer.
Her hard stare seemed to look right through the male dog, she squared her shoulders again and raised her head, trying to show that she was no push over. Trial's tail twitched back nd forth, waiting for some kind of answer. The sun was setting fast and she knew her Moon Form was just itching to kill. She would have to get the introductions done later, because very soon, she was going to be a murderer.

Fenris sat up, not wanting to seem weak, since he was laying down and the other dog standing. This newcomer was a female, a husky, kind of like himself. Her words were rough, and harsh, the usual Moon Dog talk, just be for the transformation. He smiled, though it wasn't really nice, he was trying. Fenris studied her, she had a pretty white mask, and glittering blue eyes focused on him. He had yellow eyes, but they changed at will. When he was his other form..Then he parted his handsome mug and spoke, brassy voice ringing.
Yes. I can see that you are too.
Though the only way he could tell, was by her impatience. He began to shake uncontrollably. No...Not yet... He though franticly. Fenris shook his head to clear his blurry vision. It always got blurry before it was time. The edges of this pretty, reddish brown female in front of him was blurred. He stopped shaking and was still, waiting for it..The strange, painful shocks to his body...The heat around him..His mouth throbbing. Fenris knew it was coming..And tonight, he wouldn't be alone.

The tinted red femme knew that soon, they'd both be whatever monsters their powers held. She clenched her teeth as she felt the strange tingling sensation in her paws, then her legs, and then her lithe body, her neck, then to her head. In her mind, it was ringing, like someone was screaming at her. This is what her mind did apparently, to prepare her for the massive changes. Her mind raced at what would happen: Would she and this male Mooner fight? It was possible because Trial couldn't control her actions, nor her insane mind. She tossed her head side to side, hoping to see boshes where she could hide, from the male Mooner. But not in the way one might think: She needed to hide so there would be as little contact between them as possible. Trial knew her beset chance would be somewhere she wasn't. Bolting for the nearest set of bushes, she rushed in, panting because her paws were becoming like stones to her, telling her to stay where she was: It was her Moon Form wanting to kill.
I'm Trial by the way!
Her loud bark would have been heard anywhere, she just figured it might be nicer if she told him just who had talked to him for like five minutes then left. Though it was only just beginning to look like Night, her Moon Form was already preparing to jump in charge. Hopefully they would find the male, because depending on his power, she could be in big trouble, or the other way around. She might even get herself killed.
'Leave it to my Moon Form to do that.'
She muttered under her breath. Waiting for the changes to happen, she sighed, ears flicked back and forth trying to see if anyone had followed her out here. The last thing she wanted to do was be killed or kill someone else. Though she was a Mooner, she'd rather attack someone verbally, rather than physically. To her, killing was what made her the way she is: Cold hearted, fierce, and always hateful. She waited impatiently now, waiting for the changes to happen to her.

Oh, well I'm Fenris!
He called to her disappearing rump. Then a shuddering shock claimed his body. As the moon peeked out from behind the black clouds, pouring its pearly glow all over the forest. As its thin disk appeared, a strangled cry was emitted from Fenris. The shadows receded, as the moon came out, the light from it forcing the darkness to only shadowed areas. The handsome unsullied splash of fur 'pon his chest suddenly darkened and was seemingly swallowed by a midnight pitch that, was somehow darker than the usual Fenris.
Jumping to his paws, Fenris was panting, though the transformation was far from over. Jagged rips tore across each shoulder. Sprouting from the two rips, came a black, dragon-ish wing. The wings were studded, and as obsidian as Fenris himself. They stretched and unfurled, blotting out the moon, like two dark stains on clean parchment. Fenris parted his jaws, stretching them farther than he though possible. Then his eye teeth, grew and thickened. Saber-Toothed Cat like..His other enamels were forced back, and sharped against each other. Fenris's body temperature rose, and rose. As he breathed out, a puff of smoke blew out into the air.
Fenris was about to turn, when his paws expanded and his claws thickened and grew. They were more like talons now. Fenris blinked hard, clearing his vision. His pools were ruby colored and sparkled in the night, like twin pools of raw evil. Blood thirsty, and a little out of breath, Fenris looked about, for that other dog. Where was it? Blood..Must eat. Kill..Pack. He thought. Pointing his nose at the moon, the winged beast sang an eerie tune. The notes rose and fell, sliding up and down the melodious, musical scale a few times. Suddenly he cut off. A wicked, toothy grin played on his muzzle. Staring straight at the bushes were the female was he spoke, his voice lower and more venomous.
